Another Magic Card proxy creator I discovered and ordered from early on was BlueCloudProxy on Etsy.

It looks like their main specialty is anime waifu character-style cards which is a little unfortunate for me because I’m just not that interested in that sort of thing.

But they did have some fantastic looking land cards done in a watercolor style that definitely caught my eye and I decided to place a test order with them and ordered their Anime Watercolor Land Proxy Set.

My First Order

For whatever reason this order took a while to dispatch, well over a week, but once it did it arrived quite quickly.

The cards arrived in a Ziplock plastic bag and that came inside a really nice little box which was a very nice touch.

The cards themselves might be the most premium feeling proxy cards I’ve discovered so far.

The printing and finish is excellent and they’re a little bit thicker than regular Magic Cards. I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of the thickness but it does add to the premium feel.

This mega lands pack came with all the Dual Lands, Triome Lands, Shock Lands, Bond Lands, Fetch Lands and some bonuses.

Dual Land cards

Here’s all the Dual Land cards already in P’kup Infinity Curve card sleeves. The artwork here is all fantastic and all of them stand out in their own way.

Triome land cards from BlueCloudProxy

Here’s all the Triome Land cards again all with fantastic art. The Ziatora’s Proving Ground and Spara’s Headquarters are probably my favorites here.

You’ll notice on these cards though that the Mana symbols are just different colored clouds with the same icon for each one. I would have probably preferred nicer Mana icons like what you see from ProxyPantheon but they’re not really that bad.

Shock land magic cards from BlueCloudProxy

BlueCloudProxy’s Shock Land cards are all unsurprisingly excellent as well. Watery Grave is probably my favorite here.

Bond Land proxy cards

The Bond Land cards are probably my favorite ones in the whole set, specifically Rejuvenating Springs, Sea of Clouds and Morphic Pool.

I do want to emphasize that the art on all these cards is really fantastic and a lot of these look way better than the actual Magic Cards.

I also appreciate how the borders and text are pretty close to the actual cards so you can tell right away that these are supposed to be Magic Cards.

Fetch lands magic cards

The last group of lands in this set is the Fetch Lands and what can I say other than these also look fantastic, especially the Misty Rainforest and Verdant Catacombs cards.

bonus cards from Blue Cloud Proxy

Lastly when you get this set you get bonus Reliquary Tower, Exotic Orchard, Plaza of Heroes and Mana Confluence cards which is a nice touch, especially since the artwork on these is excellent as well.

Blue Cloud Proxy's card backs

The cards also all have a really nice back design keeping with the blue could theme while also looking kind of magical. These cards are all going into sleeves with a solid background later anyways so this isn’t something I’ll really be seeing but I appreciate a nice card back design all the same.

Overall I’d highly recommend this land set.

My Second Order

Because I was so impressed with this first set of land cards I placed another order right away for Blue Cloud Proxy’s Basic Land set in the same art style.

This one dispatched much quicker and shipping was just as fast.

My second order from Blue Sky Proxy

This set also arrived packed nicely in a Ziplock plastic bag and a nice little box, just like the other set.

The set includes 10 each of forests, mountains, islands, swamps and plains with different art on each card.

Forest land cards

The forest cards are probably my favorite, especially that night mushroom scene one and the northern lights one.

mountain land cards

The mountains are all excellent and I especially like the different seasons throughout them and the one card with the waterfalls and cherry blossom trees.

swamp magic cards

I really like how the swamp cards aren’t all just a boring swamp like you often see. There’s a nice amount of creativity with cards like the abandoned ship, the dinosaur skeleton or the trees with red leaves really standing out here.

island magic cards by BlueCloudProxy

Likewise there’s some nice variation with the island cards. The second and third cards in the top row really stand out here.

Plains magic cards

Lastly we have the plains and again there’s some excellent variation here with different seasons, architecture and skies. Not just a bunch of fields like you might expect.

This set didn’t come with any bonuses but still, overall it’s a fantastic set, especially if you need to stock up on some basic land cards.

In Conclusion

Overall I highly recommend BlueCloudProxy. They’ve easily got the most high-end, premium feeling proxy cards I’ve found so far and the artwork in these land sets is fantastic.

Unfortunately other than these land sets all they really have is a bunch of anime waifu-style cards and I’m just not interested in those which is too bad because I’d really like to buy more cards in the same watercolor style as these land sets.

But if you are interested in those anime waifu-style cards then I’m sure the quality of those will be the same as these land cards and you can’t go wrong.
