We’re absolutely loving Gujian 3 (read our review here) but there’s really not really much in the way of faqs and guides online. We put together a fishing guide here and in this post we’re going to take a look at exploration.
Once you unlock the Lotuscape you can send your pact creatures to explore different locations. Each of those locations has different items they can bring back.
The higher their exploration level the better chance you have of them bringing back items. If their exploration level is too low they might run into some kind of problem and come back with nothing. Their level also affects which items they bring back, if it’s low they’ll just bring back a few basic items but if it’s higher they’ll find better things.
You also have the option of choosing how long to send them out, all the way up to 45 minutes. The more time you give them to explore the more of each item they’ll bring back at once. I always just selected 45 minutes to get the most items possible. Then you don’t have to worry about returning to the Lotuscape for awhile anyways.
Missable Locations
Missables in games drive me crazy and there are some exploration locations that aren’t available anymore after certain parts of the story.
North of Yanling, South of Yanling and Outside of Yanling will all be removed as options after a certain point in the story. Don’t worry though, there’s nothing at any of these locations that you can’t find anywhere else.
South of Yanling has a crafting recipe but you can get it later in the new location Nearby of Yanling.
Also note that the items you can get from Amber Fields will change at a certain point in the story as well. It’s the same location just the items you get chance to arguably much better ones. Since you’re a lot later in the story.

Here are all the items your pact creatures can bring back from each location. Remember, the higher their abilities and the longer the amount of time you send them out the more of these items you’ll get.
