If ProxyPantheon is my favorite proxy magic card creator then MagicalProxy is probably my second favorite, and the first person I really discovered when I first learned about these custom proxy cards.

It was the unique Japanese-inspired designs I first noticed but they’ve got a few other quite nice art styles as well.

My First Order

The first thing I ordered as a test was the Fantasy Heroes Set bundle to go along with all the other Final Fantasy cards I was collecting.

The cards shipped from Spain and arrived quite fast, in about a week which was a nice surprise. The shipping cost was very reasonable as well.

My first order from Magical Proxy

The cards arrived in two card sleeves taped to a nice little thank you paper which I thought was a nice touch.

These cards all have a beautiful Japanese painting style to them and the artwork on all of them is excellent.

The cards themselves are a bit thinner than actual Magic Cards but they have a glossy premium feel which is very nice.

They’re definitely well made and the printing is excellent.

There’s also a nice custom back to all the cards as well.

Overall I was quite impressed with my first order.

My Second Order

Not too long after I received my first order their Wraith Bundle went on sale and since shipping was very cheap I ordered that too.

It also arrived really fast from Spain and was packaged similarly to the Final Fantasy bundle with the cards split into two sleeves and taped to the thank you note.

Some of these cards are really nice like the one in the top left.

Quality is excellent on all of these as well.

If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings or the Lord of the Rings Magic Card set then you’ll definitely want to pick them up.

I’ve already added these to my P’kup Infinity Curve card sleeves.

My Third Order

During Black Friday when everyone was having sales I placed a third order for a bunch more cards.

Again they arrived really fast and this time came packaged in a little zip lock plastic bag which was nice.

My Black Friday Order

This time I ordered a bunch more single cards in Magical Proxy’s Japanese style.

Japanese Style Cards

The Quantum Riddler, Rhystic Study and Force of Will Cards are all standouts here.

I also ordered several cards in another style that looks more like what you’d expect from regular Magic Cards.

more proxy cards in a different style

I really like that Ocelot Pride card, those cats are very cute. The Cyclonic Rift, Wheel of Fortune and Winter Moon cards are especially nice as well.

Sephiroth Cards

MagicalProxy also had two different Sephiroth Emblems that I had to grab for my Final Fantasy collection.

Also, since all my Final Fantasy cards are going into binders and you can only see one side of them I got a second one of those regular double-sided Sephiroth cards so I can display both the front and the back in the binder.

And then this time as a nice little surprise Magical Proxy threw in three bonus cards.

I received another Sephiroth emblem, a dual land in a different style and a Halloween-themed plains card.

Overall a nice little touch.

In Conclusion

Overall I highly recommend MagicalProxy’s custom Magic Cards.

The printing is great, the artwork is excellent and even though the cards are a bit thinner than I’d maybe like they have a premium feel with a nice glossy finish.

Since placing my Black Friday order I see they’ve already added several new card designs to their store which I’ve already favorited and will be ordering at some point in the future.
