I’ve now placed multiple orders from several different proxy sellers on Etsy. I’ve reviewed my favorite sellers ProxyPantheon and MagicalProxy, plus another seller BlueCloudProxy already.

This post is going to cover several other sellers I’ve placed smaller orders with and what I learned.

LionswakeStudio

LionswakeStudio mostly sells full EDH decks and some bundles, not individual cards.

I instantly noticed their Stained Glass Basic Land Pack and thought the artwork was gorgeous so I placed an order.

This pack is often on sale and the price is quite reasonable. Shipping is pretty reasonable and was decently quick too.

The cards arrived in this beautiful matching box which was a very nice surprise. I haven’t seen any other proxy sellers do this and it’s both a fantastic way to protect the cards and also stand out and promote yourself.

This pack included 10 all the basic lands, Forests, Mountains, Islands, Swamps and Plains all with different artwork in a stained glass style.

As you can see the artwork is gorgeous.

You also get four bonus Prismatic Vista cards as well.

They’ve also got their own unique back design which is quite nice as well.

The printing is excellent, the cards feel about as thick as regular magic cards and have a premium feel.

My only complaint though is it looks like some of the cards have some wear around the edges. This is very obvious on the Prismatic Vista cards especially but there’s a bit on some of the other cards.

There isn’t actually any wear or damage though. I think what’s happened here is they were printed without bleed.

Bleed is extra spillover of the image past the card borders so when you cut them out of the white paper the edge is nice and crisp, without bleed you get bits of white from the paper like you see here because you’re cutting right along the line and it can never be 100% perfect so you get a bit of white edge here and there.

Other than that one little thing these cards are fantastic and if that doesn’t bother you I highly recommend them.

Since they mostly sell complete decks and I’m more interesting in cool individual cards I’m not sure if I’ll be making any more orders with them, for now at least.

TheVaultTimeless

TheVaultTimeless stood out with some very nice designs including many Japanese-inspired ones so I placed a test order of three cards.

The price was great, shipping wasn’t bad and they arrived reasonably fast.

Cards from TheVaultTimless

While I do really like the art on these, especially the Cyclonic Rift one where I ordered the foil option the quality just isn’t here.

The print quality isn’t great and the cards just feel and look cheap.

The Scythecat Cub card especially you can see the printing isn’t aligned well and the text is basically touching the bottom edge which you don’t see on those other two cards.

It’s unfortunate but I won’t be buying from them again and this is exactly why I recommend you make a small test order to see how the cards actually are in person before you order a lot.

FantasticMrFoxGlove

FantasticMrFoxGlove is another creator that stood out instantly with some excellent art and card designs.

I placed a small order of five cards to test them out. The price and shipping cost were reasonable although it took a long time for the cards to arrive. I think they shipped with USPS and they take forever but there’s nothing you can do about that.

The cards came nicely packaged in card sleeves and another sealed plastic bag. They were also taped to the inside of the envelope which was a nice idea I hadn’t thought of, it prevents them from shifting around in the envelope during shipping.

All five of the cards I received were excellent, especially the Nature’s Rhythm, Metalworker and Golos, Tireless Pilgrim cards. The artwork here is really fantastic.

The cards also have a nice unique back as well.

The overall quality of these cards is fantastic. They’re about the same thickness as regular cards, the print quality is excellent and they also have a premium feel.

My only complaint is I don’t really like the colored circle icon for the mana icons. I’d much prefer proper skull, fire, water, tree and sun symbols instead but that’s a minor complaint.

I definitely recommend FantasticMrFoxGlove and will probably be ordering more cards from them in the future.

InfinityManaShop

I came up with the idea of searching specific card names to try and find other unique proxy card sellers on Etsy. When searching for “Mystic Remora” I discovered InfinityManaShop and their beautiful Mystic Remora card.

So I ended up placing a small order for two cards. Shipping was nice and cheap but these cards shipped from Poland so they did take a while to arrive.

The cards came nicely packaged in sleeves and then in a small plastic zip lock back with a cardboard back. I was very impressed with the packaging.

The sticker on the back was a nice touch too.

The two cards I ordered were gorgeous and had proper mana symbols too!

I was so impressed with these cards I went out and ordered a bunch more. Fortunately they were having a sale at the time where a bunch of the cards I liked were 70% off.

The only problem was their shipping had changed and it now cost almost $40 just for shipping so I had to order a bunch of cards to make it worth it.

They used FedEx this time and the cards arrived way faster.

The packaging was excellent and the same as before and all the cards came in their own individual card sleeves.

All of these cards are excellent and they even threw in 3 bonus cards which were a very nice surprise as well.

I’m super impressed with the artwork, printing quality and overall feel of these cards and InfinityManaShop is now one of my favorite sellers on Etsy.

They’re having another sale with cards 70% off again and I just ordered another bunch of cards.

In Conclusion

So far pretty much everything I’ve ordered from Etsy has been fantastic and I’d recommend almost everyone.

I’m always super impressed when people find unique ways to make money from a hobby like this too and it just shows how amazing the Internet is.

I’ve favorited a bunch of different stores on Etsy now and from here on out I’m watching for new products, sales and will be making orders here and there.

The main thing to watch out for is the shipping. There’s still a few sellers I haven’t tried out yet because they want like $50 to ship two cards and I just can’t justify doing a test order with them if shipping costs that much.

The other thing I’d warn people about is to watch out for sellers from foreign countries because you may get hit with extra taxes or duty fees when the cards arrive.

But overall I’m having a ton of fun getting back into this hobby and I’m loving these custom proxy cards people are making.
