Smuggler Cache 12 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 12 is basically the “extra” stash hidden behind Zain’s Stash in a cave in the Great Chott Salt Flat. You’ll break into the cave, grab or pass Zain’s chest, then blow open a second wall to reach the cache.
Follow these steps:
- Travel to Tatooine and head to the Great Chott Salt Flat region on your map.
- Use the Hutt Stash House as a reference point. From there, ride northeast to find a cave entrance in the rock – this is the entrance to Zain’s Stash.
- The cave entrance is blocked by a destructible rock wall. Swap your blaster to the Power setting and shoot the wall to break it and open the cave.
- Head inside and follow the tunnel down to the bottom where you’ll find the first destructible wall with Zain’s treasure behind it. Blow this wall with the Power module to access Zain’s Stash (which contains a Blaster Recirculator).
- After dealing with Zain’s chest, look further inside the cave for a second destructible wall sealing off another side chamber.
- Use your Power module again to destroy this second wall. Step into the newly opened room: the Smuggler Cache 12 crate is half-buried on the ground in this back chamber.
- Interact with the crate to open Smuggler Cache 12 and claim your loot.
Reward: Materials and Valuables
Smuggler Cache 12 pays out a bundle of materials and valuables, rather than a single unique item:
- Upgrade materials you can use for blaster, speeder, or gear upgrades.
- Valuables/credits you can sell to vendors for extra money.
Once you’ve got the Power module for your blaster, this is an easy two-step cave clear: break into Zain’s Stash, then smash the second wall to reach Smuggler Cache 12 and scoop up straightforward upgrade fodder and cash.
