Smuggler Cache 18 Location & Route

Smuggler Cache 18 sits in a short, dim cave on the side of Typhon’s Rock. You reach it by climbing up to the plateau with Shuma’s Shop, then pushing a little farther along the rock face.

Follow these steps:

  1. Travel to The Lost Steppe on Toshara and ride toward Typhon’s Rock on your map.
  2. At the base of Typhon’s Rock, take the climbing route up the cliff and use the usual ledges and handholds until you reach the small plateau area that also leads to Typhon’s Rock treasure.
  3. Once you’re on the plateau, head toward Shuma’s Shop (and the nearby crashed TIE wreck, if it’s present in your game).
  4. Walk past Shuma’s stall and the wreckage, keeping close to the rocky wall behind them. You should be skirting the side of Typhon’s Rock rather than dropping back down.
  5. Look along the rock face for a small cave opening tucked into the side of the cliff. This entrance is easy to miss if you’re sprinting, so slow down and scan for a shallow hollow leading inside.
  6. Head into the cave. It’s a short tunnel; at the back you’ll find the Smuggler Cache 18 crate on the ground. Interact with it to open the cache and grab your loot.

If you have Jet Kordo’s Holotracker active, it will start beeping faster and flashing as you approach the plateau near Shuma’s Shop and the cave, making it much easier to confirm you’re in the right stretch of rock.

Reward: Materials and Valuables

Smuggler Cache 18 doesn’t hold a single named upgrade; instead, it gives you a bundle of materials and valuables.

  • Materials can feed into your blaster, gear, or speeder upgrades, depending on what you’re currently unlocking.
  • Valuables can be sold for extra credits, which is always useful for buying mods, armor, or more black-market goodies.

It’s a quick pickup once you know the route to Typhon’s Rock’s plateau. One climb, a short walk past Shuma’s Shop, and a small cave that turns into easy upgrade fodder and cash.
