Smuggler Cache 36 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 36 sits at the Tree Tunnel site in southern Stormhollow, on top of a boulder above the water, just off the riverway south of the tunnel. You’ll come in from the water with a Hydrorepulsor speeder, then grapple up to a tree log and climb to the boulder.
Follow these steps:
- Travel to Stormhollow on Akiva and set Pyke Crystal Mine or Tree Tunnel as your reference point on the map. Tree Tunnel is in the southern part of Stormhollow, near the water.
- Make sure your speeder has the Hydrorepulsor installed (unlocked via The Mechanic Expert quest), then ride south toward the waterway below Tree Tunnel. Drop into the river and follow it toward the tunnel area.
- As you reach the stretch of river that runs just south of Tree Tunnel, look along the shoreline for a small island/riverbank area with overhanging trees. You should see a horizontal tree log/branch above the bank, that’s your grapple target.
- Park your speeder at the edge of the shore below that log, then climb up onto the bank until you’re directly underneath or close to the overhanging tree.
- Equip your grapple and hook onto the tree log above. Pull yourself up and climb onto the higher level near the ruins and trees.
- From the top of the log/upper ledge, follow the short climbing route (a couple of quick ledges/handholds) until you reach the large boulder overlooking the river.
- On top of this boulder, you’ll find the Smuggler Cache 36 crate half-buried in the ground. Interact with it to open Smuggler Cache 36 and collect your rewards.
With Jet Kordo’s Holotracker active, the signal will speed up as you ride the river near Tree Tunnel and go nearly constant once you’re on the shore beneath the grapple log and climbing toward the boulder.
Reward: Credits and Upgrade Materials
Smuggler Cache 36 rewards a bundle of credits and materials, not a unique named item:
- Upgrade materials for your blaster, speeder, or gear.
- Valuables/credits you can sell to vendors for extra money.
Once you know to approach Tree Tunnel from the water, grapple the overhanging log, and climb to the boulder above the river, this becomes a quick, stylish pickup for easy upgrade fodder and cash in Stormhollow.
