Smuggler Cache 39 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 39 sits in a small cavern tucked into the side of a high hill, on the southwestern side of the Shipjacker Workshop in The Lost Steppe. You’ll climb up to a plateau with flying creatures, then slip through a narrow crack in the rock to reach it.
Follow these steps:
- Travel to The Lost Steppe on Toshara and set Shipjacker Workshop as your destination on the map.
- From the workshop area, head toward the southwestern side of the complex, looking for a tall hill or mountainside rising up behind/near it.
- Ride your speeder to the base of that hill, then dismount and start climbing using the obvious paths, slopes, and ledges. Keep working your way upward toward a small plateau.
- When you reach the plateau with Aglis Flyers (small flying creatures) hanging around, continue along the path toward the end of the ledge rather than dropping back down.
- Near the end of this path, look to your left for a narrow opening in the rock – it’s easy to miss if you’re sprinting, so slow down and scan the cliff face for a slim cave entrance.
- Slip through the opening into the short cavern. Head a little way inside and you’ll find the Smuggler Cache 39 crate at the back of the cave. Interact with it to open the cache and grab your loot.
If you’re using Jet Kordo’s Holotracker, it will beep and flash faster as you get close to the upper hill path and the cave entrance, making it much easier to confirm you’re on the right side of the Shipjacker Workshop.
Reward: Materials and Valuables
Smuggler Cache 39 rewards you with a bundle of materials and valuables, not a single unique item.
- Materials can be used for blaster, speeder, or gear upgrades, depending on what you’re currently unlocking.
- Valuables can be sold for extra credits, helping fund more mods, armor, and syndicate purchases.
Once you know to climb the southwestern hill by the Shipjacker Workshop, hit the plateau with the flyers, and look for the narrow rock opening, this becomes a quick, efficient run for easy upgrade fodder and cash.
