Smuggler Cache 52 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 52 sits inside a thin crack in the cliff face a short distance away from the Holotracker intel magnifying glass marker in The Lost Steppe. You’ll basically be following the Holotracker’s beeping away from the homestead and down toward the cliff.
Follow these steps:
- Head to The Lost Steppe on Toshara and ride toward the homestead behind Typhon’s Rock – this is the same area you visit during the Holotracker quest.
- On your map, track the intel marker (the magnifying glass icon) related to the Hidden Smuggler Caches. Use it to get back to the big rock/marker you interacted with when you first calibrated the Holotracker.
- Stand near that rock and face out toward the drop-off / lower ground it “points” toward. From here, start moving away from the homestead, following the direction where the land begins to slope down and the cliffs are closest.
- With the Holotracker active, watch and listen as the light blinks faster and the beeping speeds up. Keep walking along the edge of the cliff, following the strongest signal.
- As you move along the cliffside, look for a narrow crevice or slit in the rock wall, it’ll be just big enough for Kay to slip into, roughly halfway down the cliff face (you may need to drop down a short ledge or ease yourself onto a lower shelf).
- Drop or climb into this small alcove-like crevice. At the back of the gap, you’ll see the Smuggler Cache 52 crate sitting on the ground.
- Interact with the crate to open Smuggler Cache 52 and grab the loot.
If you’re having trouble spotting the exact crevice, slowly walk along the cliff edge with the Holotracker in hand, when the beeping is at its fastest, you’re basically right on top of the narrow opening that leads down to the cache.
