Smuggler Cache 71 is found west of the Imperial Forward Base in the Southern Falls region on Toshara, on top of a rocky plateau near a crashed TIE fighter, reachable via a big amberine ramp jump.
Quick Details
- Planet: Toshara
- Region: Southern Falls
- Nearby landmark: West of Imperial Forward Base, on a plateau with a crashed TIE fighter
- Requirements:
- Speeder Boost upgrade (needed to clear the amberine ramp jump)

Smuggler Cache 71 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 71 sits on a high rocky plateau west of the Imperial Forward Base, and the only way up is a long amberine ramp jump through an Imperial-restricted area. The cache itself is on the cliff edge opposite the crashed TIE fighter.
Follow these steps:
- Go to Southern Falls on Toshara and set Imperial Forward Base as your map focus.
- From the base, follow the road leading west out of the Imperial compound. Stay on this road until it effectively dead-ends at a big amberine ramp jutting out over a gap. This ramp area is restricted so expect Imperial troops and possibly fire if you hang around.
- Clear or avoid the Imperials as you like, then position your speeder at the far end of the road, facing straight up the amberine ramp.
- Ride forward and, just before you hit the top of the ramp, hit Speeder Boost to launch across the gap to the rocky plateau on the far side. Without Boost, you won’t make the jump.
- Land on the plateau and ride a short distance forward to reach the crashed TIE fighter. There may be some small loot around the wreck itself.
- From the TIE, turn to the opposite side of the plateau, toward the cliff edge that overlooks the drop.
- Near this edge, beside the rocks and slightly disturbed ground, you’ll find the Smuggler Cache 71 crate partially buried. Interact with it to open Smuggler Cache 71 and claim the goods.
- If you have Jet Kordo’s Holotracker active, it will beep and blink faster as you approach the ramp road and then go wild once you land on the plateau and move between the TIE and the cliff, confirming you’re right on top of the cache.
Reward: Materials and Valuables
Smuggler Cache 71 rewards a bundle of materials and valuables, rather than a single unique named item:
- Upgrade materials you can use on blaster, speeder, or gear upgrades.
- Valuables/credits you can sell to vendors for extra money.
Once you’ve unlocked Speeder Boost, this is a straightforward run: follow the road west from the Imperial Forward Base, nail the amberine ramp jump to the plateau, then check between the crashed TIE and the cliff edge for easy upgrade fodder and cash.
