Smuggler Cache 72 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 72 sits on a cliff at the back of a tiny island in the waterway at the southern tip of Stormhollow, directly south of the Pyke Crystal Mine. You’ll ride in over the water, then climb and grapple up the rocks.
Follow these steps:
- Unlock water travel. Make sure your speeder has the Hydrorepulsor installed so you can ride over the deep water in Stormhollow’s southern riverway.
- Head to southern Stormhollow. Travel to Stormhollow on Akiva and ride toward the Pyke Crystal Mine. From the mine area, drop into the waterway to the south and follow it down to the southernmost part of the region, watching for a small island-like landmass in the river.
- Land on the island. Approach the island’s eastern side, where there’s a flatter bank you can safely dismount on. Park your speeder and head inland along the obvious path. If you have Jet Kordo’s Holotracker active, its beeps and flashes will start speeding up as you move away from the shore and toward the back of the island.
- Climb up the rocks. At the end of the short trail, you’ll reach a rock face with metal bars. Climb the metal bars, then the climbable wall segment above them to reach a higher ledge.
- Grapple and finish the climb. From this ledge, look ahead for a grapple point above a gap. Use your grapple/rope to swing across to the next ledge. After landing, make two short additional climbs up the rock steps and handholds leading to the top of the island’s cliff.
- Loot the cache. At the top, on the flat cliff platform, you’ll find the Smuggler Cache 72 crate half-buried in the ground. Interact with it to open Smuggler Cache 72 and complete the Pyke Bribe intel if it’s active.
Reward: Materials and Valuables
Smuggler Cache 72 rewards a bundle of materials and valuables, not a single unique named item:
- Upgrade materials you can use for blaster, speeder, or gear upgrades
- Valuables/credits you can sell to vendors for extra money
Once you know to ride south of the Pyke Crystal Mine with the Hydrorepulsor, land on the island’s east bank, then climb and grapple up the rocks, this becomes a fast, clean pickup for easy upgrade fodder and cash in Stormhollow.
