Smuggler Cache 76 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 76 is tucked away on a lower ledge in the eastern part of Seeker’s Peril, a Tusken Raider canyon camp in the western mountains of the South Jundland Wastes. You’ll spot the cache across an abyss, then take a detour up and around to use a grapple point that lets you drop down right onto its ledge.
Follow these steps:
- Travel to South Jundland Wastes on Tatooine and head for Seeker’s Peril – a treasure location and former Tusken camp in the western mountains. There’s a road that leads into the canyon and through a tunnel to reach the central camp area.
- Once you’re in Seeker’s Peril’s central camp, with Tusken-style huts and structures around you, move toward the eastern side of the area. Look for a large gap/abyss with a lower rock ledge visible across the ravine – you can usually see the Smuggler Cache 76 crate sitting down there.
- Stand at the edge where you can clearly see the cache below and across the gap. From this vantage point, turn to the left (north side of the abyss) and look for climbable rock wall sections and ledges.
- Climb the wall to the left of the abyss, using handholds and ledges to scramble up to the higher path above the ravine.
- At the top, follow the narrow path that curves back to the right, skirting along the edge of the canyon and effectively moving above and around the gap where you saw the cache.
- As you continue along this path, look for an overhead grapple point positioned above the abyss and the lower ledge.
- Use your grapple to hook onto the anchor, then swing/descend down onto the lower ledge where the cache sits. Take your time lining up the swing so you land cleanly on the ledge rather than overshooting.
- Once you’re on the ledge, the Smuggler Cache 76 crate is right there, half-buried in the rock. Interact with it to open Smuggler Cache 76 and loot the contents.
If you’re using Jet Kordo’s Holotracker, it’ll beep and blink faster as you move into the eastern side of Seeker’s Peril and will go nearly constant when you’re standing at the abyss looking down at the cache and again when you reach the lower ledge.
Reward: Credits and Materials
Smuggler Cache 76 rewards a bundle of credits and upgrade materials, rather than a single named item:
- Materials that can be used for blaster, speeder, or gear upgrades, depending on what you’re focusing on.
- Valuables/credits you can sell at vendors for extra money.
Once you know the trick, spot the cache across the abyss, then climb up on the left and use the grapple to drop down, this becomes a stylish little detour in Seeker’s Peril for easy upgrade fodder and credits.
