Smuggler Cache 83 Location & Route
Smuggler Cache 83 is on a small ledge with a tree you can climb, directly above the northern road that marks the top edge of Hunter’s Canopy. Once you’re on that road, it’s just a matter of spotting the climbable tree and scrambling up.
Follow these steps:
- Head to Hunter’s Canopy on Akiva. Travel to Hunter’s Canopy, the Hutt-controlled region between The Great Basin and Stormhollow on Akiva’s southwest side.
- Reach the northern boundary road. From anywhere in Hunter’s Canopy, make your way to the road that runs along the northern edge of the region, the one that eventually heads toward Mount Selasa to the north.
- Ride west along the road and look for the climbable tree. Ride your speeder along this northern road, watching the south side (inside Hunter’s Canopy). Look for a short rock rise with a tree growing out of it, close to the roadside. This tree marks the climb up to the ledge where the cache is.
- Climb up to the ledge. Dismount at the base of the tree and climb the rocks and tree trunk/roots to reach the small elevated area above the road. At the top, step onto the ledge overlooking the road toward Mount Selasa.
- Loot the cache. On this ledge, near the cliff face and tree, you’ll find the Smuggler Cache 83 crate half-buried in the ground. Interact with it to open Smuggler Cache 83 and grab your rewards.
With Jet Kordo’s Holotracker equipped, the signal will speed up as you ride along the northern road and go almost constant once you’re standing under the climbable tree and up on the ledge above.
Reward: Materials and Valuables
Smuggler Cache 83 rewards a bundle of materials and valuables, not a unique named item:
- Upgrade materials you can use for blaster, speeder, or gear upgrades
- Valuables/credits to sell at vendors for extra money
It’s a quick pickup once you know the trick: find the northern boundary road in Hunter’s Canopy, spot the tree on the roadside ledge, climb up, and loot the cache overlooking the road to Mount Selasa.
