The Featherbow is an angel archer class from Albion, a flying ranged unit that deals physickal damage while draining enemy PP and sealing passive abilities.

They’re the angelic equivalent of Hunters but with a focus on disruption through resource denial rather than pure accuracy.

Strengths

Featherbows can damage enemy PP with their attacks, functioning similarly to Shamans but from a ranged archer platform.

This PP drain shuts down enemy passive skills, crippling defensive strategies.

Their signature Shining Light attack can blind an entire row of enemies, dramatically reducing enemy accuracy. This is one of the best crowd control tools in the game, an entire row of blinded enemies will miss most of their attacks.

Flight as a leader effect gives terrain-ignoring mobility to the entire unit, and ranged assist support adds bonus damage to nearby allied fights.

They can seal enemy passive abilities, preventing passives from activating even if the enemy has PP. This double-layer disruption (drain PP AND seal passives) is devastating.

Weaknesses

Like all flying units, they’re vulnerable to anti-flying attacks from Hunters and Arbalists.

Their raw damage output is lower than dedicated archers, they compensate with utility rather than burst.

Fragile with low HP and physickal defense. Back-row only.

No promotion.

Key Skills and How to Use Them

Light Arrow is a ranged attack that deals damage and drains enemy PP.

Shining Light blinds an entire row of enemies. One of the best utility skills in the game.

Seal Passive prevents enemies from using passive skills. Devastating against passive-reliant enemies.

Ranged Assist provides support damage for allied units.

Best Team Compositions and Tactics

Featherbow + Shaman creates complete resource denial — the Shaman curses while the Featherbow drains PP and blinds.

Featherbow + Hoplite pairs physical defense with anti-passive disruption.

Featherbow + any frontline benefits from the row-wide blind reducing incoming damage.

Position in the back row. Use Shining Light early to blind enemies, then PP drain to shut down passives.

Characters Who Use This Class

Raenys is the primary Featherbow, recruited during the Albion campaign.

Final Thoughts

The Featherbow is one of the best disruptive ranged classes in Unicorn Overlord.

Row-wide blind from Shining Light alone makes this class worth fielding, and PP drain plus passive sealing adds layers of resource denial that cripple enemy strategies.

Excellent for any army that values control over raw damage.
