The Werelion is Morard‘s unique class in Unicorn Overlord, a powerful bestral warrior from the lion bloodline of Bastorias.
His class is essentially an enhanced Gladiator/Berserker with bestral Nightwalk mobility, combining devastating row attacks with high HP and nighttime speed.
Strengths
The Werelion has a skill set nearly identical to the Gladiator/Berserker, with row-hitting attacks and high HP that make Morard a top-tier physical damage dealer. His attacks cleave through entire rows of enemies with impressive potency.
He has self-healing capabilities through passive abilities, giving him sustain without dedicated healer support.
Like all bestral classes, Morard gains Nightwalk, providing enhanced mobility during nighttime battles. This makes him significantly faster on the overworld during night phases.
His Valor skill is similar to Warriors, providing additional utility on the overworld.
The combination of Berserker-level damage with bestral mobility makes the Werelion a premium offensive class.
Weaknesses
Same weaknesses as Gladiators, low defense despite high HP, vulnerability to cavalry, and accuracy issues against evasive enemies.
No promotion means the class can’t upgrade further.
Morard is the only Werelion, so you can’t duplicate this class.
Key Skills and How to Use Them
Lion Fang is a powerful row-hitting attack, similar to Spinning Edge.
Wild Roar buffs attack power, increasing subsequent damage.
Area Strike hits multiple enemies for area damage.
Self-Heal restores HP passively during combat.
Nightwalk provides enhanced night mobility as a leader.
Best Team Compositions and Tactics
Morard + Cleric provides healing to keep HP topped off for full-health bonus damage.
Morard + Witch provides accuracy buffs and magick imbue for his row attacks.
Morard + other bestrals for thematic Bastorias-themed units with Nightwalk synergy.
Position in the front row for maximum row attack coverage.
Characters Who Use This Class
Morard is the only Werelion. He’s a key member of the Frostblooms in Bastorias and plays an important story role as he ultimately becomes king.
Final Thoughts
The Werelion is essentially a Berserker with bestral mobility. If you like what Gladiators do (massive row attacks, high HP, self-healing) the Werelion does it with the added bonus of Nightwalk.
Morard is an excellent damage dealer who’s especially strong on night maps. A solid pick for any army.
