The Warrior is Unicorn Overlord’s dedicated anti-armor class, a hammer-swinging bruiser whose entire kit is designed to shatter shields, ignore defense, and demolish armored frontlines.

Once promoted to Breaker, this class becomes even more devastating against tanky targets.

If your army keeps running into Hoplites and Fighters that won’t go down, the Warrior is the answer.

Strengths

Warriors possess powerful anti-armor skills that ignore physickal defense, making them the hard counter to Hoplites, Fighters, Legionnaires, and Vanguards.

In a game where armored frontlines can feel invincible, having a Warrior in your roster is essential.

Their physickal attack is excellent, and skills like Crushing Blow seal enemy guard, preventing targets from blocking any follow-up attacks. This lets your entire unit pile damage onto a defenseless enemy.

After promotion, Breakers gain Armor Crush, which deals devastating anti-armor damage and further reduces enemy defense.

They also get AP refund on kills, letting them snowball through weakened formations.

The leader effect is Barrier Breaker, useful for destroying gates and barricades.

Weaknesses

Warriors have low defense and should be positioned in the back row.

They’re glass cannons focused purely on offense with no defensive tools.

They’re slow, low initiative means they act late in combat.

Against Thieves and Gladiators, they struggle due to accuracy issues against evasive targets and vulnerability to high-damage counterattacks.

Warriors are also purely physical with no magick capability, so enemies with extremely high physickal defense and magic resistance can still pose problems.

Key Skills and How to Use Them

Crushing Blow is the starting active, it attacks an enemy and seals their guard. This is crucial for opening up armored enemies for your team.

Hammer Slam (level 10) deals anti-armor damage, meaning it ignores defense entirely. Use this against Hoplites and Fighters for devastating results.

Armor Crush (level 20, Breaker only) is the premium anti-armor skill with even higher potency and defense reduction.

Guard Seal is a passive that prevents enemies from guarding after being hit, stacking with Crushing Blow’s effect.

AP Refund (Breaker passive) grants 1 AP on kills, letting the Breaker continue attacking if they finish off a target.

Promotion to Breaker

Promotion adds Armor Crush and the AP refund passive, both of which make the class significantly more dangerous.

The stat boosts help too. Promote when you can, it’s a solid mid-priority pick.

Best Team Compositions and Tactics

Warrior + Knight/Great Knight creates a unit that handles both infantry (Knight’s anti-infantry) and armor (Warrior’s anti-armor). Very versatile.

Warrior + Hoplite puts a tank up front while the Warrior demolishes enemy tanks from the back row.

Warrior + Soldier offers column penetration plus anti-armor, covering most defensive formations.

Position Warriors in the back row. Set Crushing Blow or Hammer Slam to target armored enemies (Hoplites, Fighters) first.

Characters Who Use This Class

Mordon is a missable Warrior tied to an execution choice — spare him to recruit later.

Nina is a missable Warrior who requires Mille to speak with her during her map. She’s excellent with strong attack stats.

Kitra is a Warrior recruited in the Bastorias colosseum. She’s a reliable late-game option.

Mille is a post-game Warrior who joins after “Dying Breath of an Empire Fallen.”

Final Thoughts

The Warrior/Breaker exists for one purpose: destroying armored enemies. And it does that job better than anything else in the game.

Every army needs at least one Warrior to handle the inevitable Hoplite/Legionnaire walls you’ll face.

Keep it in the back row, point it at the tankiest enemy, and watch their defenses crumble.
